It becomes very important for you to deactivate UPI payments from your linked bank accounts in case you lose your mobile phone or have a similar situation.
- Block your phone number by calling your mobile network operator’s customer care service. Before proceeding with your request, you will be asked to provide your personal details such as your full name, billing address, and last recharge or bill amount paid for verification.
- Call your bank helpline to block your phone number from your account and ask to disable the UPI service.
